Well, I'm just figuring out details and flights but it looks like I'm headed to Tacna, Peru this weekend. I found this job online and he emailed me on Friday wondering if I could start next Monday. It came along really suddenly, but I've never been much of a planner anyways, and its not like I have a lot of things to pack.
Just so you all know, the schedule will most likely be as follows... Tacna - Oct 5th, Mexico City - Dec 20th, Vancvouer - Dec 23rd, Mexico City - Dec 30th, Tacna - Jan 3rd.
So get all you presents ready for me and for the Lopez's to bring back after Christmas ;)
Here is the school's website. www.brittanygroup.org They're really laid back which was very appealing to me. Classes are small (from 6 - 15 people) and they also provide personalized Spanish lessons. I'm coming along, but I still have far to go with my language skills. I can stay with a Peruvian family for a small fee (equivalent to about $70 CAD per month) and enjoy the company of the natives and get to eat their nummy traditional food.
